What is Cobalt XS, and how does it work?
Cobalt XS does the same as Cobalt X, just on a smaller scale. The sensor is connected to the logger, which measures at a fixed interval, stores data locally and transmits it to the gateway over LoRaWAN. The screen shows the current value as well as the lowest and highest reading, so a deviation can be seen without opening the system.
We do not typically use it in medicine cabinets, but rather in storage rooms where both temperature and humidity are needed, and where the logger should take up as little space as possible.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Cobalt X and Cobalt XS?
Cobalt X has a touchscreen and up to four measuring points, and it can use Emerald Bluetooth sensors. Cobalt XS has an LCD with buttons, typically one to two points, and cannot use Bluetooth sensors. Otherwise they do the same.
Does it require a network?
No. It transmits over LoRaWAN to the gateway. The gateway, however, needs an Ethernet connection to the network.
Does it have a battery?
You can count on more than a year. The exact figure depends on measuring interval and temperature, and we state it in the quote. The system gives a technical alarm in good time.
