Two zone pairs in one sensor
Measures the pressure difference between two pairs of zones at once. Used for pressure cascades, where the air must move in one specific direction through several rooms.
What is Differential pressure, dual, and how does it work?
Air moves from high to low pressure. If a cleanroom is kept at positive pressure relative to the corridor outside, air flows out through gaps and doors instead of in, and particles do not follow. If the pressure difference drops, the flow reverses and the protection disappears without anyone being able to see it.
The dual sensor has two channels and therefore measures two zone pairs at the same time. A cascade with four zones can then be followed with two sensors instead of four, and all measurements appear in the same graph.

The product in use
The sensor is mounted outside the zone, and the tubes are run to the rooms to be compared. The data logger sits alongside and transmits wirelessly.
Each limit has its own delay, so a normal passage through the airlock does not trigger an alarm, while a sustained loss of pressure does.

Frequently asked questions
How large should the pressure difference be?
That is set in your own qualification and depends on the zone class. We configure your figures, we do not decide them.
How do we avoid an alarm at every passage?
With a delay on each level. The pressure difference must stay outside the limit for the number of seconds or minutes you decide.
When should we choose the dual instead of the single?
When you have a cascade through several rooms. If you only have two zones to compare, the single is enough.
