Can Emerald be calibrated?
Emerald is a Bluetooth sensor that sends its readings to the data logger. It is easy to install and has no internal memory in that role. It can also be used as a standalone logger for shipments, where it stores the readings itself and is read via Bluetooth with a phone.
Yes. It can be calibrated and exchanged for a freshly calibrated unit, so you avoid gaps in the curve. The old one comes back for calibration.

The product in use
Emerald is mainly used as a fixed sensor in equipment where a cable cannot be run. It can also be used on the move in shipments, where it travels with the goods and is read on receipt.
Installation is the same in both cases. The unit is placed inside, and the rest happens automatically via the data logger.

Can it be calibrated?
Yes. And it can be exchanged for a freshly calibrated unit, so you avoid gaps in the curve. The old one comes back for calibration.
Does it need a network?
As a Bluetooth sensor it sends to the data logger, which stores the data locally. Used as a standalone logger for shipments, it stores the data itself.
Can it measure below -40 degrees?
Not with the internal sensor. From 0 to -30 degrees an Emerald is enough. If it is colder, we use Emerald with an external Pt100 probe, and the two are calibrated as one unit.
