Wireless siren that gives sound and light when OCEAView detects a deviation. For rooms where someone is present and needs to react straight away.
What is the LoRa Alert Siren, and how does it work?
The siren connects to the system over LoRaWAN and is triggered by OCEAView, not by a local device. This means it can be placed somewhere completely different from the equipment that fails, for example in a corridor or a duty room.
The siren gives sound and light when OCEAView detects a deviation, so the deviation is noticed by the people in the room.

The product in use
The siren is placed where people actually spend their time, not necessarily next to the equipment. On a ward, that typically means the duty room or the corridor.
It complements OCEAlert. If someone is in the building, they hear it straight away, and if no one is, the alarm still goes out as a call, text message or email.

Can it be placed somewhere other than the equipment?
Yes. It is triggered by the system and not by the device, so it can be placed where people are.
Does the siren replace calls and text messages?
No, it complements them. If someone is in the room, they hear it straight away. If no one is, OCEAlert reaches the person on call by phone call, text message or email.
