The software that turns measurements into documentation
The equipment measures. The software is what collects the measurements, raises an alarm when something deviates, and stores the history so it can be presented afterwards. Without it, a measuring point is just a number on a screen.
What software is used for temperature monitoring?
We supply OCEAView, which comes in a cloud version and an on-premises version, plus the Dickson360 mobile app. In addition, there is Mapping Suite for mapping studies.
What sets the platforms apart is not the day-to-day functions. It is who runs the system, how users are managed and where the data is stored. That is what your IT and QA need to decide on.

Runs on your own servers with LDAP. You control updates yourself, and with them the qualification.

The functions are the same. The difference lies in operation, user management and who decides when updates happen.
The equipment behind the software
The software is only as good as the measurements it receives. Here are the units that send data to it.

A measurement without a time stamp, without a user and without a log that cannot be altered is just a number. It is the software that turns it into something you can present to an auditor. That is why the choice of platform is not a detail at the end of the project, it is one of the first decisions.

Which platform should we choose?
Cloud for most. On-premises if you need to control updates yourself for qualification reasons, or if data must stay on your own servers.
Is it charged per user?
No. The licence follows the number of measuring points, and the number of users is unlimited in both versions.
Can we see it on a mobile phone?
Yes, via Dickson360 for iOS and Android, with the same dashboard and the same alarms.
Can we export data out of the system?
Yes, as PDF and CSV, so it can be read independently of the platform.
Who sets it up?
We do, together with you, including limits, delays, on-call rotas and training.
